Granville Island (Completed)

The Granville Island Kids Market Public Space is complete.
If you are in the area, be sure to check out the new digs. This is a fantastic spot to take a rest and appreciate the natural beauty of British Columbia… oh, and be sure to check out the public market – it’s fantastic.

Capwest (North Vancouver) Almost Complete

Cap West in North Vancouver is close to completion. With features from playgrounds to massive water fountains to more pavers than we can count – this venture is a big one.

Granville Island (In Progress)

The NXNW team is laying down the final touches for the Granville Island project. Unit Paving, Planting, Irrigation, and Playground Installations.

Capwest (North Vancouver) Concrete work

As the project took shape, our team had to move through multiple logistical obstacles. This video shows what measures we had to take to ensure the success of the project.

MEC is the most prominent outdoor recreation retailer & we are proud to be apart of the new MEC head office. From rooftop patios to water features – this venture shows the versatility of North by Northwest’s landscaping abilities.

SFU Convocation Hall (Phase 1)

1. Crane-in 🏗 Soil, River Rock, Bark Mulch to fill massive planters.
2. Strategically place materials to respect the structural integrity of SFU cat-walks.

Salting Services

During the cold winter months, Vancouver experiences slick roads and snowfall. North by Northwest helps to keep roads clear of ice to keep you and your neighbours safe. Modular Daycare (UBC) Progress

Welcome to the Modular Day Care Center at UBC. This video showcases our work in developing the hardscape layout for future softscapes.

Museum of Anthropology

North by Northwest is honored to have one of their projects dating back to 1997, which included a complete transformation, Irrigation, Water Feature, Native Planting, and Decorative Local Snag Installation. Our Founder of NBNW, Tim Ferguson was alongside the legendary Cornelia Oberlander. The two of them transformed this beautiful landscape while staying true to the Native Plants of the area.

Capwest (North Vancouver) Green Roof Installation

Installing a Green Roof for our Cap West Venture.
This massive project features a meticulous irrigation layout, architectural concrete structures, a rooftop playground, green roofs, tree installations, and a soon-to-be water feature.
